General Daluwatte tipped to head new mission in Brazil
Bandula Jayasekara in Colombo, SLT 9.45 a.m. Saturday September 01. Head of the Joint operations command, General Rohan de S Daluwatte is tipped to head Sri Lankas new mission in Brazil diplomatic sources told The Lanka Academic. Earlier in the day foreign secretary G. Wijesiri confirmed that the mission in Brazil would be opened before the end of this year. When questioned about Daluwatte being tipped to take over as the new ambassador in Brazil foreign secretary G. Wijesiri said that he couldn't comment about it at the moment.
