Norwegian Team Back in London
Saroj Pathirana in London, Tuesday 12/02/02 1710 GMT. Norwegian peace delegation completed another round of talks with a senior leader of the Tamil Tigers in London. The delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Vidar Helgesen left for Oslo after talks with LTTE main negotiator Anton Balasingham. It was expected that the team was to finalise the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to be signed separately by the warring parties. "It was just another meeting of the series" Norwegian Foreign Ministry spokesman told BBC’s Sandeshaya.
