Knowledge initiative: India to send team to Lanka - INDOlink, 2010-10-16 03:24:53 EST. New Delhi, Oct 15 (PTI) As part of its efforts to help Sri Lanka become a trilingual society, India will send a high- level team to the island nation. The decision was taken at a meeting here today between HRD Minister Kapil Sibal and Sri Lankan Foreign Minister G L Peiris, official sources said. The Indian assistance is part of a knowledge initiative that will assist in making the island nation into a trilingual society and improving linkages between universities in the two countries.
